BA Chinese Language and Literature

Course Length: 2~4 years

 Admission Requirements:

1. High school graduate;

2. Chinese proficiency:

• To enter the first year in fall semester: HSK4 (180) or BCT2;

• To enter the second year in fall semester: HSK 4 (220) or BCT3, with at least one year’s study experience in a university;

• To enter the third year in fall semester, HSK 5 (220) or BCT4, with at least two year’s study experience in a university;

• To enter the first year in spring semester, HSK 4 (200) or BCT3 with at least one year’s study experience in a university;

• To enter the second year in spring semester, HSK 5 (220) or BCT4 with at least two year’s study experience in a university;

3. Pass the entrance examination (written examination and interview).

Application Deadline:

Spring Semester: 31st January

Fall Semester: 31st July

Entrance Examination Date:

Fall semester intake: end of June or end of August.

Spring semester intake: end of Februrary

Start Date: 

Spring Semester:  early March

Fall Semester: early September

Tuition Fee: 19,000 RMB/ academic year

Application Fee: 800RMB

Bachelor’s Program in other majors (Chinese Medium)

Admission Requirements:

1. High school graduate;

2. Bachelor’s Program in International Economy and Trade

HSK4 (220 or higher) or BCT3;

Bachelor’s Program in other majors

HSK5 (220 or higher) or BCT4;

3. Pass the entrance examination (written examination and interview).

Entrance Examination:

Chinese Written Examination and Interview are held twice a year in the months of June and August.

Mathematics Examination is held at the end of July every year. Math tutorial offered by the university is available in the middle of July.

Course Length: 4 years

Tuition Fee: 21,000 RMB/ academic year

Application Fee: 800RMB

Application Materials

1. A completed application form with photo and signature;

2. Copies of Diplomas and Certificates and Official transcripts;

3. Certificate of HSK or BCT test;

4. Copy of passport.

Application materials can be submitted through email, post or by hand to our office.

3. Application fee.

The application fee can be paid online, at IICLC office in cash, by international postal remittance (via the Post Office) or by bank transfer to our account.
4. An admission notice and JW202 form will be issued after approval of the application.

5. The applicant can bring admission documents and a valid passport to the Chinese embassy or consulate to apply for a visa to enter China.
